On the 8th, about 100 people, including Yongin Special Mayor Lee Sang-il, officials from food and public hygiene organizations, city and district officials in charge of sanitation, and employees of the Children’s Meal Management Support Center, attended the event in the international conference room of the Yongin Culture and Arts Center.
Mayor Sang-il Lee awarded commendations to those who contributed to the development of Yongin City’s food and public sanitation industries, encouraging them for their hard work, and had time to communicate with attendees of the banquet.
Mayor Lee said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who have devotedly worked for the food and public health of Yongin City.” He added, “I ask you to continue to work closely with the city and work hard to ensure citizen health and food safety, and the city will do its best to help.” He said.
Mayor Lee said, “Yongin City, which is growing into a global semiconductor city, will have many companies moving into the city, new cities will be built, and the population will rapidly increase. However, the issues of food and public hygiene, which are directly related to the health of citizens, cannot be overemphasized.” He emphasized, “Your role here is important.”
Ho-seon Lee, Chairman of the Food and Public Hygiene Group, said, “I feel that Yongin City is developing at a very rapid pace, and I am grateful to the Mayor who is working hard for Yongin City.” He added, “In this process of development, we are working with small business representatives to find ways for everyone to coexist.” He suggested, “It would be good to invite the mayor and hold a meeting with them.”
Next, city officials guided the main performance of the city’s food hygiene and public sanitation business this year and the business direction for next year, and also held a special lecture useful for businesses under the theme of ‘Service that attracts customers to return to stores’, attracting the attention of attendees.

The city official then introduced the city’s major achievements in food hygiene and public hygiene projects this year and the direction of next year’s projects, and held a special lecture on the topic of “attractive services for stores that customers return to,” which focused the attention of the attendees.
