YONEX German Open: Tickets available from November 1st

Same procedure as every year: Tickets for the next YONEX German Open will also be available this year from November 1st. After all, it is already tradition that advance ticket sales for the International Badminton Championships in Germany start on that day.

The most important tournament for the German Badminton Association (DBV) will take place in 2025 from February 25th to March 2nd. As usual, the venue is the Westenergie sports hall in Mülheim an der Ruhr (North Rhine-Westphalia). The Ticket prices are unchanged compared to this year’s edition: They range between 7.50 euros (children on the first two days of the event in category 1 and on the third day of the event in category 3) and 168.00 euros (adult season ticket for all days of the event in category 1 ).

While on the event days Tuesday and Wednesday there is only free choice of seats, specific seats can also be booked from Thursday to Sunday. There is only one ticket category on the first two days of the event, but on the other four days of the event, badminton fans have the opportunity to choose between three ticket categories.

Basically you can Tickets For individual event days, a three-day ticket (valid from Friday to Sunday) and a season ticket (valid from Tuesday to Sunday) can be purchased. Group tickets are also available on all tournament days.

The YONEX German Open will also belong to the “HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300” category in the tournament structure of the BWF World Badminton Association in 2025. However, they will then be worth even more than this year: While total prize money of 210,000 US dollars was distributed in 2024, the world’s best players will be awarded 240,000 US dollars at the 66th International Badminton Championships in Germany.

The prestigious tournament will once again be the start of the European tour next year: The YONEX German Open, which will be held in calendar week 9, will be followed by further top events in France (Orléans; HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300) in calendar weeks 10 to 13. , England (Birmingham; HSBC BWF World Tour Super 1000), in Switzerland (Basel; HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300) and in Spain (Madrid; HSBC BWF World Tour Super 300).

In 2025, the company YONEX will act as the main and title sponsor of the International Badminton Championships in Germany for the 37th time in a row.
