Yolanda Rincón on the health of the son she had with Diomedes Díaz

Miguel Ángel Díaz, son of the late singer Diomedes Díaz, continues to fight for his life in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital Mayor Universitario – Méderi, in Bogotá, where he has been hospitalized for a week due to chronic kidney failure.

Through her social networks, Yolanda Rincón Sánchez, mother of Miguel Ángel, said that her son He suffered four cardiac arrests on Tuesday, October 22, and was resuscitated by the medical team. In addition, she said that he is connected to a mechanical ventilator while he waits for his recovery so that they can give him a kidney transplant, because the one she donated expired on his circle.

“Friends, followers of Jesus, ‘Diomeditas’ and ‘Martinistas’, today I join the public cry of my son’s brothers to pray to the one who can do all things, for the salvation of my one son of Miguel Ángel Díaz Rincón, since then in yesterday My son suffered 4 respiratory heart attacks and thanks to God they managed to revive him, because of the underlying illness he has been suffering from since he was a child: “chronic renal failure”reads the post on his Instagram account.

She explained that Miguel Ángel lost both his kidneys when he was 22 years old, receiving dialysis treatment for 3 years and later the kidney transplant she gave him.

“With God’s help I donated one of my kidneys, but it has already completed its cycle and in January this year he will start peritoneal dialysis again. This has seriously weakened his health to the point of endangering his life. Right now medical science doesn’t give me much hope, they are fighting to support him with artificial respiration. He is in an induced coma, in the ICU, but I am holding on to the promise God gave me that my son will live and serve him.”, he added in his story.
