Yokasta Valle Prepares for Unification Fight Against Seniesa Estrada in Los Angeles, USA on March 29

The Costa Rican boxer Yokasta Valle has been in the United States for a week now, where she is carrying out her camp to face the American Seniesa Estrada for the unification of the 105-pound world titles, on March 29.

The fight will take place on Good Friday at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona; It will be the semi-main event of the card and is expected to begin around 8:30 p.m.

Valle, along with his coach, the Mexican Gloria Alvarado, and the rest of his coaching staff, train at the Wildcard gym in Los Angeles, United States, fine-tuning technical details to face Estrada in a fight that many consider the most important. of the year in the female branch.

In the first days in the United States, Valle’s practices focused on seeking explosiveness and, above all, strength in the blows to undermine Estrada’s movements.

The training sessions are daily and even double-day, where the work done physically in Costa Rica supports Yoka’s excellent condition in each session.

“Forceness in each blow is essential, in a fight that will most likely go to the judges’ decision. We cannot leave any doubt about the result,” said coach Alvarado, according to journalist José Pérez in a press release.

With 30 wins and two losses, Yokasta will put his International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) titles on the line.

Meanwhile, Estrada, with a record of 25 fights won and zero losses, will not only defend his undefeated record, but also his World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Council (WBC) belts.

“Seniesa is a boxer who changes the guard, she is dangerous, but sometimes she gets very messy, so you have to be patient. In Los Angeles, my trainer, Gloria Alvarado, prepared a sparring group to work according to her style. Even my sister Naomy (Valle) is with us to help us as a sparring partner, since she studied Seniesa’s style a lot,” Valle told La Nación.

Yoka, who debuted professionally on July 26, 2014, has been a professional boxer for almost a decade; He has 32 fights, that is, three fights per year, demonstrating great rhythm and is always ready to get into the ring thanks to his enormous discipline.

Currently, Yokasta is also undefeated in 17 fights. Her last defeat was on June 16, 2018 when she fell by a disputed decision against the German Tina Rupprecht in Munich, Germany.

For the Costa Rican boxer it will be her tenth defense of the IBF title and her fourth in the WBO, so the national puts more than her reputation at stake against the American striker, who confessed to be more than eager to face and defeat the ethics.
