Originally from La Ciotat and trained in Saint-Cyr-sur-mer, Yoann Cardinale joined OGC Nice at the age of 15.
He stayed there for 12 years and played more than 90 professional matches (including 75 Ligue 1 matches and 14 in European competitions).
