First post-election meeting of candidates and members
The first post-election meeting of all the candidates and members of the faction “Yannena New Era” took place on Wednesday evening.
Participation was universal and it was unanimously decided that the faction should remain active.
The head of it, Dimitris Papageorgiou, made the central presentation, which moved along two main axes.
On the one hand, the election result was analyzed and on the other hand, the way that will allow the faction to be active in society was analyzed.
In this context, a three-member committee was formed which will undertake the updating of the statutes and the organization of a plenary session before the end of the year in order to elect a coordinator and secretariat. As Mr. Papageorgiou pointed out, the faction with its elected municipal councilors will carry out fruitful and substantial criticism and submit proposals, while with its members it will intervene in society consistently with its principles and values
