Sunday with Lubach started in 2014 and was awarded the Gouden Televizier-Ring in 2017. The VPRO program is regarded as a hit for the audience by the NPO.
In his autobiography Jammer Lubach wrote that he thinks the program is reaching its limits in its current form. According to the comedian, there are only a limited number of subjects that lend themselves to “twenty minutes of anger and indignation”.
He added that he wants to stop at the peak and do other things, but would like to be with the same team. He is also already thinking hard about a new program.
