Yes to the future childcare center on Berger’s land in Saint-Modeste

The Commission for the Protection of the Agricultural Territory of Quebec (CPTAQ) recognized on January 15 that the future structure will not interfere with the farming of this site.

Berger led the CPTAQ to revise its preliminary orientation sent in June 2020. The latter indicated that the establishment of a childcare center in this agricultural zone should be refused.

The director of the Jardins Jolis CPE, Marie-Eve Gauvin confirms that the construction of the facility should take place in the fall of 2021. The next step will be the architectural plan which must be approved by the ministry.
