There are various relationships in the tvN Monday-Tuesday drama “Surviving as a Celebrity Manager” (directed by Baek Seung-ryong, scripted by Park So-young, Lee Chan and Nam In-young). Matthew (Lee Seo-jin), the general manager of Method Entertainment, and Cheon Je-in (Kwak Seon-young), the team leader manager, who are like an older brother and sister who are not on good terms, Matthew Oh and newcomer So Hyun-joo (Joo Hyun-young) who has a secret family relationship, So Hyun-joo, who has an accident and bad command towards him, Cheonjein, etc. Between them, the relationship responsible for laughter is the great chemistry between Cheon Je-in and Kim Joong-don (Seo Hyun-woo), who shared the joys and sorrows of their college days with Method Enter.
The fiery Jane and the mild-mannered average don have opposite personalities. However, the only person who can calm Jane’s raging rage is Jung-don, and the only person who can eliminate Jung-don, who is glass-minded, crawls in his own cave, is Jane too. Perhaps for this reason the great chemistry between the two foremen and managers who get along and do not hesitate is making viewers burst out laughing.
Their “Chin Chin Vibe” exploded in the second episode. As they talked about their mutual romance, Jane suddenly made a shocking suggestion to Jung-don: “Would you like to have a child with me?” Jane had no qualms about even asking for sperm. Here, Jung-don replied: “I can give it to you if you want”, revealing a deep (?) friendship that has never been ordinary.
The two, best friends of best friends who don’t hesitate to talk about sperm, fought fiercely even when they fought. When the casting of Method Entertainment actors Lee Hee-joon and Jin Seon-gyu became entangled in a play, the two managers in charge also turned into enemies in an instant. To Jung-don, who rushed to pick Seon-gyu not knowing he was trying to convince Hee-joon he wouldn’t, Jane didn’t hesitate to criticize him, saying, “It’s hard without a purpose or a vision, and “a rote manager who thinks everything works as long as the schedule fits.”
