In 2021, the Yeno challenge was to swim 32 kilometers between the island of Yeu and the island of Noirmoutier (Yeno). This year, the Arch-Event association, in partnership with the Pontenese association Courant nature, is adding something new: swimmers will be accompanied on this crossing by a group of people in remission or undergoing cancer treatment, as well as by their carers. , by canoe. This challenge will take place during the week of July 24, depending on the weather.

The sea is the best school of solidarity. Such challenges, both sporting and spiritual, can help women and men to surpass themselves, to draw deep within themselves in the face of illness.

Four swimmers were at the initiative of the first Yeno challenge in 2021: Loïc Métais (creator of Arch-Event), Frédéric Roméra, Axel Van der Elst and Olivier Delfosse. Their objectives for this new edition: to organize and prepare this crossing as a team, to finance the purchase of two five-seater canoes of the WOO brand made in Anglet, then to offer them to the association Courant nature for its health sports activities by putting their benefits forward.
