Yemen fires ballistic missiles into Israeli occupied territories

The Yemeni army has fired ballistic missiles at Israeli military positions in support of the Gaza resistance.

The Yemeni armed forces said in a statement on Wednesday that they targeted the city of Umm al-Rasrash in the southern part of occupied Palestine.

The statement said that military operations against the occupied territories of Yemen will continue until the attack on Gaza ends.

He also said that Israeli ships will be prevented from sailing in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.

Earlier, the Israeli government said it had fired a ballistic missile over the Red Sea using an Arrow Air system.

Media reports said the incident in Umm al-Rashrash, which the regime calls Eilat, set off sirens, although it said the missile did not enter the airspace of the occupied territories.

A US defense official told Western media that a Yemeni drone that flew into Israeli-occupied territory was shot down this morning.

The UK’s Maritime Trade Operations Agency said it had received a report of a suspected drone over the Red Sea west of the Yemeni port of Hudaydah.

The Yemeni army has launched several ballistic missiles and drones into Israeli-occupied territories since Israel began its war on Gaza in October.

The Yemeni armed forces said last Sunday that they had fired missiles at two Israeli ships in the Red Sea.
