The Civil Protection of the Campania Region has issued aYellow weather warning for thunderstorms, which could also be intense on a valid local scale starting from 9pm todayThursday 21 November, for the following 24 hours, i.e. until 9pm tomorrow, Friday 22 November, throughout Campania.
In addition to the Yellow weather warning for thunderstormsthe presence of strong winds from the western quadrants, with possible gusts and rough or very rough sea with possible storm surges.
A hydrogeological risk is expected across the entire territory with possible:
- Surface runoff with possible material transport phenomena;
- Flooding of underground rooms and those on the ground floor;
- Surface flow of water in roadways, possible phenomena of regurgitation of rainwater disposal systems with overflow and involvement of depressed areas;
- Increase in hydrometric levels of watercourses, with flooding of neighboring areas, also due to local critical issues (buried stretches, narrowing, etc.);
- Landslides and rock falls in several places in the area.
