Wednesday, December 19, around 10 p.m., yellow vests tried to block the freight area of Montpellier airport in Vauguières. The gendarmes of Hérault, helped by a helicopter, intervened to dislodge them. The police arrested 17 people. At midnight, the site was once again free to access.
This is the first time that Montpellier airport has been the target of yellow vests as a group has settled since the start of the conflict at the level of the Prés d’Arènes roundabout.
