Temperatures will drop
On Sunday, cool air will come in with a northwesterly wind and temperatures will drop in our country. Cloudiness over the country will be variable and in places, mainly in Eastern and Southern Bulgaria, there will be short-term showers and thunderstorms. There are conditions for local intense precipitation and hail. It will be rainless in the western and central part of the Danube plain, NIMH reported.
The prevailing maximum temperatures will be between 27 and 32 degrees, in Sofia – around 27. The atmospheric pressure will drop a little more, and in the afternoon from the west it will start to rise, but it will remain lower than the average for the month.
For today, a yellow code has been issued for strong wind, short-term precipitation, thunderstorms and the possibility of hail for 11 areas in Northern Bulgaria. The warning for strong wind applies to the regions of Vidin, Montana, Vratsa, Pleven and Veliko Tarnovo. A warning has been issued for the regions of Ruse, Targovishte, Razgrad, Shumen, Silistra and Dobrich for short-term, temporarily intense rainfall and thunderstorms.
Over the Black Sea, the cloud cover will be variable, over the northern coast often significant – cumulus and cumulus-rainy. In some places there will be brief rain with thunder. The wind will be oriented from the northwest, will increase and will be mostly moderate. Maximum temperatures will be between 29 and 31 degrees. The temperature of the sea water is 25-26 degrees. The excitement of the sea will be 2-3 points with a tendency to weaken.
Over the mountains, cloudiness will be variable, often significant. It will rain and thunder in many places. A moderate and temporarily strong northwesterly wind will blow. Temperatures will drop and the maximum at an altitude of 1200 meters will be around 22 degrees, at 2000 meters – around 16.
