5 long beans, cut into pieces

1 tablespoon salt

How to make:
Boil water, bay leaves, galangal, turmeric, tamarind, and sugar until it boils. Let it simmer 5 minutes. Remove and strain.

Bring it back to a boil. Add the shallots, curly red chilies, sweet corn, and melinjo, and boil them until they boil again.

Add the chayote, cabbage, string beans, and melinjo leaves. Add salt, mix well. Cook until cooked. Remove and serve.
