The alerts follow one another and are similar. The Loire department is placed on yellow alert for storms by Météo France. The storm phenomenon will occur this Thursday between 3 and 8 p.m.
Wind up to 80 km/h
“A rainy disturbance will approach our department from the west. A few millimeters of rain are forecast, between 5 and 10 mm depending on the exposed locations,” notes Météo 42.
According to the Loire prefecture, precipitation could be up to 20 mm/h with gusts of up to 80 km/h.
The southerly wind will be moderate between 40 and 60 km/h. Temperatures will range from 13°C to 21°C.
Isère, Drôme, Ardèche, Ain on orange alert
According to Météo France, which has placed Ardèche, Drôme, Isère and Ain on orange rain-flood alert, the extension of the axis of heavy rain goes from the south of Ardèche to Bugey.
However, these expected rains are occurring in a short time, and in areas already impacted last Monday, which implies the extension of orange vigilance to two departments.
