The Directorate General of the Interior and Civil Protection reported that the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a yellow level warning for fog in the Ribera del Ebro and in central and southern Huesca.
The notice will be active in the Ribera del Ebro, province of Zaragoza, and in the two zones of the province of Huesca from 20:00 on this Friday 6 January until 12:00 on the following day, Saturday 7 January.
AEMET institutes a red alert when the meteorological risk is extreme due to unusual phenomena, of exceptional intensity and with a very high level of risk for the population.
The orange alert is triggered if there is a significant meteorological risk due to unusual phenomena and with a certain degree of danger for usual activities, and yellow when there is no meteorological risk for the general population, but there is for some specific activity.
