Elena Isinbayeva is a Russian pole vaulter with 28 world records. She is a supporter of the Russian authorities. In 2012, she was Vladimir Putin’s confidant in the presidential election, and in January 2020, Isinbayeva was included in the working group on amendments to the Constitution, which included zeroing Putin’s terms (the amendments allowed him to remain in power until 2036).
