Yeboah is storming in Graz from now on

Kelvin Yeboah changes from WSG Swarovski Tirol to league competitor Sturm Graz. The 20-year-old striker will sign in Styria until summer 2024.

Kelvin Yeboah is moving to Sturm Graz with immediate effect. The 20-year-old Italo-Ghanaian, who came to Wattens in the summer of 2018, still had a contract with fifth in the table from Tyrol until 2022 and made an impression on Sturm coach Christian Ilzer when he was still coaching Vienna Austria, agreed with third in the table from Styria to an immediate change. The parties have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.

In the current season, Yeboah was in the starting line-up 14 times for the Wattener Sportgemeinschaft and with 4 hits and 5 assists made a significant contribution to the Tyrolean soaring.

Statements about the transfer:

WSG Sports Director Stefan Köck:
“I would like to thank Kelvin for his performance in the WSG dress. He found a great platform in Wattens and made excellent use of it. I particularly remember his important goal in Horn, which at the time contributed significantly to the rise of the WSG. With strong performances in the current game year, he played his last time in the display. Now he wants to take the next step in his career. We wish Kelvin in Graz the best of luck. ”

WSG-Trainer Thomas
Silberberger:

“It is of course a bitter loss for us – Kelvin was in great shape recently. But I’m happy for him. The change is proof that the WSG is an excellent station to play in the display. We are a training association, a springboard. I am convinced that Kelvin in Graz will take the next step on the career ladder. ”
