Year-end men’s tournaments scheduled on Tennis Channel, network application, from November 10 to 17 – Open 6ème Sens – Tennis

LOS ANGELES, November 7, 2024 – Tennis Channel, the network’s app and website (www.tennischannel.com), will host the Nitto ATP Finals, the most exclusive event in men’s tennis, from 10-17 Samhain Coverage will begin on Sunday, November 10 at 5:30 a.m. ET, live from Turin, Italy. The annual tournament will feature the top eight singles players and doubles teams of the 2024 season in a round robin competition between the sport’s biggest stars. In 2024, that includes Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, who shared the four major singles titles, and American Taylor Fritz, who reached the US Open final for the first time.

The ATP Finals organizes the eight singles players into two pools of four, each competing against the others in their group. The top two players from each pool advance to a single-elimination semi-final, with the winners facing each other in the championship match. The ATP Finals doubles event is structured similarly

Round-robin singles and doubles tournaments will be held November 10-15, usually at 5:30 a.m. ET (full schedule below). The semifinals will take place on Saturday, November 16 at 6 a.m. ET. Championship matches close out the men’s ATP Tour season on Sunday, Nov. 17, with the doubles final at 9 a.m. ET, followed by singles at 12 p.m. ET.

ATP Finals matches will appear live on Tennis Channel and the app- and website-based streaming service, with all matches available on demand on the streaming service after the decision.

Talent on the air

Hall of Famer Jim Courier will provide analysis during Tennis Channel’s coverage of the 2024 ATP Finals In 1991 and 1992, he advanced to the singles final in this event. Courier also shares his thoughts on the daily closing show Live tennis channelas did Hall of Famer Andy Roddick (@andyroddick), who reached the semifinals of the ATP Finals in 2003, 2004 and 2007.

Paul Annacone (@paulAnnacone), who won a place in the tournament in 1985 and is also famous for his success as a coach for the greats Pete Sampras and Roger Federer, will provide match commentary again this year. He works with Emmy and Courier Award-winning announcer Brett Haber (@BrettHaber). Longtime Tennis Channel host and presenter Steve Weissman (@SteveWeissman) will carry it every evening Live tennis channel discussions.

Tennis Channel’s Turin bureau will include former player Prakash Amritraj (@PrakashAmritraj) and host Dani Klupenger (@daniklup), who spent the season on the world tour and ‘ taking care of many tennis personalities. Amritraj and Klupenger connect with the stars of this year’s ATP Finals through on-site interviews and special segments during the tournament.

Sinner (No. 1 in the singles rankings) won the Australian Open and US Open in 2024, while Alcaraz (No. 3) won the French Open and Wimbledon crowns this year. Fritz (No. 5) blew away the home crowd at this year’s US Open in New York, powering the final match of the event against Sinner. Alexander Zverev (No. 2), Daniil Medvedev (No. 4), Casper Ruud (No. 7), Alex de Minaur (No. 8) and Andrey Rublev (No. 9) complete the ATP Finals singles field.

In the double category there are Marcelo Arevalo-Mate Pavic (n°1 in double course classification), Marcel Granollers-Horacio Zeballos (n°2), Wesley Koolhof-Nikola Mektic (n°3), Simone Bolelli-Andrea-Vavassori ( n. °3). 4), Max Purcell-Jordan Thompson (n° 5), Rohan Bopanna-Mathew Ebden (n° 6) and Harri Heliovaara-Henry Patten (n° 7).
