Ye-hes! From this date Gooische Vrouwen returns

We couldn’t believe our luck when it was announced that the iconic series Gooische Women would finally return to the tube after years of absence. We had to wait a while and our patience was almost up, but this morning the joyful news came out: this fall the ladies from the Gooi will finally return!

The good news was recently announced that after thirteen years there will be a brand new season of Gooische Women comes. Videoland recently shared the first images of Martin Morero and Tante Cor and Cheryl Morero. And now we also know when the series will be released on Videoland!

Get ready, because on October 27th it’s time. “Yeaaaah 💖 From October 27th Cheryl, Claire, Anouk and Roelien will be back as usual with a brand new season of Gooische Vrouwen! Put this in your agenda BIG 🥂”, is the announcement on Videoland’s Instagram.

Gooische Women is about four friends from ‘t Gooi and was on television from 2005 to 2009. This was followed by two films, both of which attracted more than two million visitors. This makes them two of the most visited Dutch cinema films of the past decades. We are already looking forward to one-liners from Cheryl Morero such as “What kind of service is that. You do understand that I can’t get 25 boxes of champagne in my Porsche?”

The leading roles were played by Linda de Mol (Cheryl), Tjitske Reidinga (Claire), Susan Visser (Anouk), Other Malherbe (Willemijn) and Lies Visschedijk (Roelin).

Enthusiastic cast

The cast and crew of Gooische Women loved getting back together for the recordings. “It’s great to all get back together and dive into the characters that still have the whole of the Netherlands wondering how they are doing today,” shared Will Koopman – who, like in previous seasons, will be directing. “The first days of shooting were of course a bit of getting used to and exciting, but it Gooische Women-feeling is back to normal again.”

Linda de Mol also thought it was fantastic to be able to perform for Gooische Women. “The laughter and the atmosphere during the recording of Gooische Women I really missed it. To be back on set with everyone ten years after the last film feels like coming home,” she said. “Cheryl’s life has not stood still, but of course she will always remain a true Gooische woman. It’s wonderful to dive into this character again.”
