The nominees for the award in the categories “Trainer” and “Paralympic Athlete” of the Year are also known. Jan Cadieux (ice hockey), Claudine Müller (athletics) and Thomas Stauffer (alpine skiing) are available as “trainers”. Among the Paralympic athletes, Catherine Debrunner, last year’s winner Marcel Hug and Manuela Schär – all from wheelchair athletics – make the choice among themselves.
The six contenders for the MVP of the year trophy from team sports have been known for two weeks now. The winner of this MVP election as well as the other winners from the other categories will be honored at the TV gala on Sunday, December 10th (live on SRF 1 from 8:05 p.m.) in the studios of Swiss Radio and Television Zurich. The nominations in the main categories “Sportsman of the Year” and “Sportsman of the Year” are still open.
