KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta once again distributes social assistance or a phase 4 social assistance package to DKI Jakarta residents.
This DKI Jakarta phase 4 social assistance package is distributed from Wednesday 24 June 2020 to 7 July 2020 in all regions of DKI Jakarta in stages.
“God willing, evening or tonight the social assistance package phase 4 will be dropped. Please help you in lowering it to transport,” said a Head of RT in the Pasar Rebo area of East Jakarta when giving an appeal to the citizens of Sabut June 27, 2020.
Previously, DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria stated that the DKI Jakarta social assistance package will continue to roll in July 2020 until December 2020.
It’s just that the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said the recipient of the social assistance package this time will be reduced compared to the previous DKI Jakarta social assistance package.

“Later the assistance will be adjusted to the people who need it, and the amount will be reduced. If previously the motorcycle taxis got social assistance, the recipient would get lost as the economy recovered. After the people worked, they were no longer assisted gradually,” Ahmad Riza Patria said through a video uploaded by the provincial government DKI Jakarta on Friday (6/26).
Riza Patria asserted, people who have recovered to work and the economy has begun to stabilize can no longer get help from the government. “Except for residents who have been registered to receive routine assistance such as the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) for the elderly card, they are disabled. They will continue to receive assistance,” said Riza Patria.
Likewise, citizens who have been registered as recipients of Social Aid from the central government, such as the Family of Hope Program (PKH) and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) from the central government will continue to be routinely distributed.
According to Riza Patria, the reduction of this assistance on the one hand must be thankful for meaning that it has recovered and returned to normal except for the pre-prosperous community groups.
“So there are 2 assistance from the center and the region until July December, the numbers will be adjusted,” he said.
On that occasion, Riza Patria also emphasized that the matter of channeling aid was left to the residents of the environment. “How do we submit the technicality to the RT and RW which regulates how to distribute. You better understand the conditions of the residents of RT and RW, which are important until and can be accounted for properly as part of family togetherness, and solidarity please,” Riza Patria said during a dialogue with RT and RW management in Pasar Baru Kelurahan.
On that occasion he also responded to complaints from RT and RW management about the lack of social assistance until the evening. “We will convey probably because the number of 2.4 million packages from the regulated warehouse is given the task of PD Pasar Jaya which regulates, it is more pleasant at night because there is no traffic. There is an environment that can be assisted at night, we will try. delivery of food packages from morning to evening, “he said.
