Yaw Yeboah leaves Wisła Kraków

Yaw Yeboah joined the ranks of the Krakow Vistula in the summer of 2020 and on August 29 he made his debut in a T-shirt with a white star, playing on the pitch in the match against Śląsk Wrocław. Since then, the Ghanaian has won a place in the basic squad for good, becoming a key player of the 13-time Polish champion. Yeboah has repeatedly confirmed that he has above-average technical skills, the sample of which was possible on August 21, 2021 during the away match against Górnik Łęczna, when the midfielder decided on an individual action that charmed the entire football world. The 24-year-old with a spectacular dribble disassembled the defensive line of his opponent, and then sent the ball into the net, contributing to the victory of Wisła.

He also entered the list of shooters during the Derby match with Cracovia or the December match with Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza. In total, for the team from Wawel, Yaw Yeboah played 50 games (47 in Ekstraklasa and 3 in the Polish Cup), in which he scored ten goals and noted six assists.

“Yaw is a perfect example of transfers that a club like Wisła should do. He is a player found by scouting, recruited thanks to the great determination of the board, who saw an opportunity in the precarious situation of his club. In 18 months, he gave us a lot on the pitch, showed himself and promoted us. His transfer to Columbus Crew is the highest transfer of Wisła in 4 years, in addition, we managed to guarantee the percentage we expected on the next transfer, which should provide the club with additional benefits in the future. Yaw has traveled a model route in Wisła, we hope that we will be able to repeat similar movements in the future, ”said Tomasz Pasieczny, Sports Director of Wisła Kraków.

Yebo! Thank you and good luck in your future career!
