At 34 years old, Yaroslava Shvedova has officially announced his retirement from the world of tennis. After a few years marked by a time off the slopes due to an ankle problem and because she was a mother, the Kazakh tried to return to the slopes in 2020, but the Covid ended up killing her illusions to climb in the Ranking. Finally, after several tournaments in 2021, he has put an end to his career. With a singles title, Shvedova became number 25 in the world and from now on will work as captain of the Kazakh team for the Billie Jean King Cup.
