Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Maguchikh won gold in the high jump at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France). She showed a result of 2.00 m.
Australia’s Nicola Olislagers finished the competition with the same height (2.00), but unlike Maguchi, who cleared the bar on the first attempt, she had to complete her jump three times. This Olympic silver was Olislagers second of her career; in 2020 she took second place at the Games in Tokyo (Japan).
Third place was shared between Australian Eleanor Patterson and Ukrainian Irina Gerashchenko.
Former Russian Elena Kulichenko, who represented the Cyprus national team, finished in seventh place.
