Yanukovych and a wreath: exactly 11 years have passed since the attack

Monday, May 17, marked the 11th anniversary of the day when a spruce wreath fell on the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in the Kiev Park of Glory.

Recall that the incident happened during the laying of flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier together with the then President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

As shown in the video, because of a strong wreath tore off the counter and landed directly on Yanukovych. Two people immediately ran up to him and helped to remove the wreath.

The wreath in front of Medvedev remained motionless, but a man also ran up to him and held the counter.

Note that on June 9, 2020, the fugitive former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych celebrated his 70th birthday.
