Following the resignation of Bea Diallo, First Socialist Alderman of Ixelles, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, the general assembly of the militants of the PS section of Ixelles met this Saturday, November 6. It proceeded to the reorganization of responsibilities within the socialist representatives, to the designation of a new Alderman and to the designation of a new Vice-President of the Municipal Council.
Romain De Reusme has been appointed as the new leader of the socialist representatives of Aix. He is assigned the powers of Finance, Personnel, Public Education and Sports.
Nabil Messaoudi will continue his work as Alderman of Public Cleanliness, Social Cohesion and Families. It will also assume the competences of Youth, Twinning and International Cooperation.
Nevruz Unal is assigned the skills of Employment and Social Integration, Prevention and supervision of Hospitals, in addition to its skills in Urban Renovation, Neighborhood Contracts and Legal Affairs.
Yannick Piquet, vice-president of the municipal council, is appointed as new alderman. He will assume the skills of Public Works and Building Cleanliness. His election will be proposed to the Municipal Council on November 25.
Hassan Chegdani will continue his work as President of the Ixelles CPAS.
Anne Delvaux will act as vice-president of the municipal council.
At last, Mamoudou Kane will sit as the new municipal councilor.
The section of the PS of Ixelles expresses the wish to see Bea Diallo succeed in his commitment to serving Guinean youth and that, as recalled by the President of the Brussels Federation of the PS, within the framework of the establishment of a democratic transition process which must be up to the challenges and respect for human rights.
