Yannick Nézet-Séguin expanded at the Met in New York

The maestro performs four to five operas each season, including a new production of Wagner’s Tetralogy, directed by Yuval Sharon, which will begin during the 2027-2028 season and end in the spring of 2030. Nézet-Séguin will also direct the premieres of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Mason Bates, with libretto by Gene Scheer; Frida and Diego’s last dream by Gabriela Lena Frank, on a booklet by Nila Cruz; Lincoln in the Bardo by Missy Mazzoli, with a libretto by Royce Vavrek; The Highlands by Carlos Simon, with a libretto by Lynn Nottage and Ruby Aiyo Gerber; And The Marriage Wedding by Huang Ruo, with a libretto by James Schamus.
