Who is Everson Pereira?
The 22-year-old was born in Cabudare, Lara state. He is a right-handed hitter who belongs to Cardenales de Lara in the LVBP, although he has not yet made his debut in the Venezuelan winter league.
The Yankees signed Pereira in the process on July 2, 2017. They gave him a $1.5 million signing bonus.
He is considered a jewel in the Bronx Bombers, as he possesses the five tools to play ball.
