A few days after the announcement of a complaint by the dancer against the choreographer for “aggravated rape of a minor”, Yanis Marshall’s mother recalled “the utter panic” which seized her when she discovered “the pot of roses” in 2004.
She in turn emerges from the silence. This Tuesday, January 23, Yanis Marshall’s mother spoke on C8 in Tdon’t come to my posta few days after the announcement of a complaint against Bruno Vandelli for “aggravated rape of a minor”.
“I knew very well that sooner or later this story was going to end up breaking,” said Nadia Cheraf. “I have been waiting for all this to fall for twenty years, and it was I who discovered the pot aux roses in 2004,” she had confided a few minutes earlier in Nice morning.
At the time, the dancer’s mother “was in total panic, total horror,” she recalled.
A “scary hold”
On BFMTV last week, the former Star Academy dance teacher recalled that the controlling relationship that began when he was 14 with the choreographer, made famous in the show Popstars in 2002, was known by those around him. by Bruno Vandelli and that the dance community was aware of his actions with the young dancers he took under his wing.
A statement confirmed by his mother this Tuesday. “All the people around Bruno Vandelli knew about it,” she recalled, assuring that this was known “in that environment”.
In Yanis Marshall’s entourage, Nadia Cheraf was on the other hand the only one to know the relationship of her minor son with the choreographer. “I hid this story to protect my child,” she repeated on television.
She added: “What was most difficult for me was not being able to file a complaint against this gentleman. I had in front of me a child who was completely under the frightening influence of Bruno Vandelli.”
Bruno Vandelli defends himself
A few hours after the announcement of the complaint on Instagram, Bruno Vandelli, 62, denounced him “a masquerade who would [le] make you look like a monster.
On BFMTV on Saturday, his lawyer Mr. Joseph Cohen-Sabban deplored the fact that no complaint had been communicated to him, without which he cannot prepare a defense.
“We are arriving in a situation where we are all going crazy,” he lamented. “There is no complaint, there is nothing recorded, there are facts prescribed for years and at present there is an operation to destroy Bruno Vandelli.” According to him, his client is “devastated to be the object of a manhunt”.
Yanis Marshall’s mother then replied to him, through the media: “The masquerade is her client.” And to continue: “I have the evidence, I have the documents.”
