Epidemiological investigation of exchanges between authorities and faculty
According to the city of Gwangju on the 27th, 15 new people were confirmed on the day related to TCS International School in Gwangsan-gu, where 100 people were infected the day before. Eight students and teachers, and seven members and acquaintances who were infected with the nth infection after contacting them. The cumulative number of confirmed patients at TCS International School in Gwangsan-gu increased to 115.
The 122 students and teachers of this school lived in two dormitories with 3 to 11 people in one room. About half were from other regions such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gyeongnam, Jeollanam-do, and Busan, so most of the time spent in school and dormitories.
However, since there is no separate restaurant, the meal was settled with food delivered in the room. I took the school bus provided by the school to the school, which was about 10 minutes away by car from the dormitory. Going out was restricted to once a month, and cell phone use was also tightly controlled. An official in Gwangsan-gu said, “A lot of teachers stayed and eaten with the students, and this dense, close, and closed three-mild environment increased the spread of infection.” On that day, while the confirmed people were moving to the quarantine institution, some residents threw eggs and protested, saying,’The school did not follow the quarantine rules properly.’ The quarantine authorities are investigating the epidemiological link between TCS International School and TCS Ace International School. All 30 teachers working at both schools were infected, and it is believed that there may have been exchanges between faculty and staff. In Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do, six students were tested positive for Gwangju TCS International School. They all work in religious facilities related to the IM Mission. One of them recently visited TCS International School and spread the virus to the remaining five. In Ulsan, three family members who visited Gwangju TCS International School were confirmed, and one in Busan who went to the Daejeon IEM International School camp was tested positive.
