Yang Zhiqiang, chairman of Yuanshan International Development Company, one of the people involved in the case, was summoned during the night. It is understood that investigators found 8 million cash in a cooler at Yang Zhiqiang’s company in the morning.

Prosecutors and police officers investigated the corruption. Yesterday, 122 people were mobilized and divided into 26 routes to simultaneously search for DPP Chairman Qiu Lili, Lin Zhizhan and 3 Kuomintang members who voted. The service offices and residences of 10 defendants including Lin Shijie, director of the Provincial Fishermen’s Association. At present, in addition to Lin Shijie, Qiu Lili and 9 other people have all been summoned to the case.

Spokesperson Qiu Lili posted 500,000 yuan bail at 6:30 in the morning, and Vice President Lin Zhizhan posted 200,000 yuan bail. Counselor Zhang Shixian 100,000, Counselor Huang Lizhao 100,000 and Counselor Li Wenjun 250,000 on bail. Yang Zhiqiang, the chairman of “Yuanshan International Development Company” and Guo Zaiqin, former executive member of the former Central Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party, who were seized by the company in cash amounting to tens of millions.
