Yamaha releases four new XSR155 colors, at this price point

Starting in 2023, Yamaha Indonesia has released four new colors for the XSR 155 neo-retro sports bike. Four new colors have been introduced, namely Metallic Red Authentic, Light Blue Wanderlust, Metallic Black Elegance and Matte Silver Premium.

First, the Metallic Red Authentic color is inspired by classic Yamaha motorcycles. The color red is attached to the tank area and body side plates combined with black.

Secondly, Yamaha offers a new color, namely Light Blue Wanderlust. The blue color blends into the mudguard area, bodywork, up to the rear area.

The third color, Matte Silver Premium, has also received an update this time around. Dominated by the silver color which emphasizes the garage atmosphere, showing the freedom of the bikers to express themselves while riding in the style of the Yamaha XSR 155. The fenders, side covers and the rear of the bike have been changed to silver and parts of the saddles that were originally brown have now turned black.

Then, for those who love black, Metallic Black Elegance is available. Specifically for this color, the USD part is painted using the gold color.

“Yamaha introduces a new color that is incorporated into the XSR 155, which is a superior heritage sports motorcycle with many fans in the Indonesian market. The presence of the XSR 155 with these attractive colors more and more supports the riding style of consumers,” he said Antonius Widiantoro, Asst. General Manager Marketing – Public Relations PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM).

This new color Yamaha XSR 155 is marketed for IDR 37,635,000 on the street in Jakarta.

Overview of the Yamaha XSR 155

The Yamaha XSR 155 has a traditional sports motorcycle concept, visible from the stern of the drip-shaped tank, classic traditional single-seater seats and round front and rear lights with modern LED technology. Despite its classic looks, the Yamaha XSR features state-of-the-art technology with a retro-style full LCD digital speedometer featuring a multi-information display (MID).

In addition, this bike also features the Assist & Slipper Clutch function, the Assist function makes the clutch operation smoother when you pull the clutch lever, while the slipper clutch works to prevent the rear wheels from slipping when you do engine braking, when downshifting rapidly.

The XSR 155 has also adopted an Up Side Down (USD) suspension which not only gives a snappy impression to the bike but also improves handling while riding. The XSR 155 is equipped with a 155cc, SOHC, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 4-stroke engine supported by VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) technology that creates uniform torque at every engine speed. On paper, the Yamaha XSR 155 can release 14.2 kW of power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm.

On the legs, however, the XSR 155 has adopted an Up Side Down (USD) suspension which not only gives a snappy impression to the bike, but also improves handling while riding. As for the tires themselves, this model uses dual-purpose tires designed for mobilization in various road conditions with dimensions 110/70 at the front and 140/70 at the rear.
