We know, there will always be a place for the legendary R1M, R1 and R6 RACE, but the advent of the new R7 makes R / World a reality for many younger drivers aspiring to the sporty lifestyle.
The bike is powered by the much loved CP2 twin cylinder, hugely successful, famous for its full-bodied and linear torque delivery, as well as for its reliability and low operating costs. The new R7 is poised to rock the midweight market, clad in a beautifully crafted, high specification fairing that includes radial calipers, upside-down fork and slipper clutch. The R7 is a new breed of motorcycle that delivers exhilarating Supersport performance with outstanding handling and the aggressive style of the R-Series, all at a very competitive price.

For better easy handling, coupled with the agility and responsive action of the suspension, the R7 features 10-spoke alloy wheels. A high level of grip is offered by the 120 / 70ZR17 front tire and 180 / 55ZR17 rear tire, which enable stable and safe road holding when cornering, acceleration and braking.
The new R7 is available in two new colors chosen for the debut of the new generations of R-Series. The first is Icon Blue, which is used on the upper surfaces and for the rims, while the sides of the fairing have a darker contrasting matte blue tint. The engine, frame components and swingarm are finished in Crystal Graphite, which accentuates the R7’s power and dynamism.
The R7 will also be available in Yamaha Black, with minimalist details and graphics. This glossy black finish gives the bike a sophisticated look and is complemented by the engine and Crystal Graphite frame. The beauty of this pure color scheme is that it gives the R7 a sober character, which appears suitable for any situation, from the race track to the city. The deliveries of the brand new sports car (which comes right after the fantastic XSR125) to Yamaha dealers, will start from October 2021.
