Yamaha Lexi LX 155 officially introduced in Indonesia. This motorbike replaces the Lexi 125 generation which has been marketed since 2018. So what are the specifications of the Lexi LX 155? Here’s the review.
The Yamaha Lexi LX 155 carries the “Simple but MAXi” concept, this motorbike has moved up a class from the previous 125 cc engine capacity. The target market for the newest Lexi LX 155 is consumers who need a premium class motorbike with maximum performance but has a simple and practical character.

“We present the Lexi LX 155 Series for active riders who want to have a premium scooter that is simple and practical for everyday riding, but still has maximum performance in terms of engine, features and driving comfort. That is why we call this new model Simple but MAXI,” said Dyonisius Beti, President Director & CEO of PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) at its launch in Jakarta, Friday (12/1/2024) yesterday.
In terms of appearance, the Yamaha Lexi LX 155 adopts a simple motorbike without many sharp lines. The main and rear lights use LED technology.

But the Yamaha Lexi LX 155 has lights on the front and rear and also has a new design that uses LED lights.
The premium impression of the Yamaha LX 155 shines even more with accents blue lense V-Lines on the headlights.
Lexi is still carrying flat footboard or a flat deck that makes it easier for users to access legroom when driving. The comfortable driving position is also supported by spacious legroom and a new seat design that is lower and slimmer so that it is more comfortable to drive alone or in a group, worthy of being an option for everyday use.

On the undercarriage, this motorbike is equipped with Sub-Tank Suspension (for S and ABS variants). The comfort of driving the LEXi LX 155 increases because it has wide tubeless tires with front tires measuring 90/90 – 14 inches, and rear tires 100/90 – 14 inches.

Features
The Yamaha Lexi LX 155 has a full LCD speedometer screen with a new design that is futuristic and informative.
Yamaha has embedded safety features in the Yamaha LX 155, including the rider can use the Smart Key System, which is an advanced key system without a key (keyless) equipped with an Answer Back System feature which makes it easier for the rider to find the motorbike’s parking position. However, the standard version still uses a conventional key system.

Following other Yamaha Maxi Series motorbikes, the Yamaha Lexi is now equipped with the Y-Connect application feature. Users can get information regarding motorbike maintenance recommendations, fuel consumption, last parking location, malfunction notifications, message notifications and incoming calls that appear on the speedometer, driving rankings related to mileage and gasoline consumption (eco points), riding log or travel history and Revs Dashboard with an attractive appearance.

Latest 155 VVA engine
The Lexi LX 155 is equipped with the latest generation Blue Core 155 cc engine. This new touch can be seen in the design of the camshaft, piston and head as well as the oil path, resulting in better performance due to minimal friction and vibration.
The latest engine on the Lexi LX 155 produces maximum power of 11.3 kW at 8000 rpm and maximum torque of 14.2 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Apart from that, the Lexi LX 155 engine also has VVA (Variable Valve Actuation), SOHC, 4 valve and liquid cooled technology.

Price
Regarding price, the Lexi LX 155 is offered in three variants, including:
- Lexi LX 155 Connected ABS with Magma Black color which comes at a price of Rp. 29,900,000 (recommended price OTR Jakarta)
- Lexi LX 155 S version with Magma Black, Elixir Dark Silver and Matte Red colors which is priced at IDR 26,850,000
- Lexi LX 155 in Metallic Black, Matte Gray and Metallic Red colors which is sold for Rp. 25,350,000.
