Yamaha Indonesia has officially exported the MT-07 motorbike model to Europe. This is history for Yamaha Indonesia because for the first time their factory located in Pulogadung, East Jakarta, has received the trust of the principals to produce large engine capacity motorbikes.
MT-07 is one of the MT Series line ups which is claimed to be liked by big bike fans. This motorbike has a typical MT design with a Hyper Naked character. The dashing visuals of the MT-07 can be seen from the use of LED Projector lights which increase visibility with maximum lighting (low beam and high beam together).
This motorbike is also equipped with DRL and LED turn signals. The modern design of the MT-07 can also be seen from the digital LED speedometer with a 5 inch TFT screen, which is connected to the rider’s smartphone.
Yamaha claims the MT-07 is superior in handling which is supported by a high and wide handle bar position to increase riding comfort. And it is equipped with dual front disc brakes with a large diameter of 298 mm so it is more powerful, providing progressive braking power at all speeds. The MT-07 is also equipped with Michelin Road 5 tires which provide maximum control.
The MT-07’s powerful performance is supported by a 689 cc, 2 cylinder engine, using crossplane technology, liquid cooled (Euro 5 standard). This motorbike is known as the Master of Torque character, the maximum torque produced by the MT-07 engine is 67 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Meanwhile, the maximum power is 72.4 hp at 8,750 rpm.
