PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) released the latest classy motorbike, the Grand Filano Hybrid Connected. Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli also participated in the launch of Grand Filano Hybrid Connected which took place at the St Regis Hotel, Kuningan, South Jakarta, Wednesday (17/1/2023).
Grand Filano Hybrid Connected offers a contemporary retro scooter design. This scooter comes with a premium fashion concept that reminds us of scooters made in Italy.
“We are optimistic that the presence of the Grand Filano Hybrid-Connected in the Classy Yamaha family will receive a positive response from consumers and even has a strong potential to become a new trend setter like our scooters in the Maxi Yamaha category which are currently very popular and very much loved by the people of Indonesia,” said President Director & CEO of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM), Dyonisius Beti, at the launch, South Jakarta, Wednesday (17/1/2023).
The new Yamaha scooter has been equipped with various modern features, starting from full LED lighting, LCD instrument panel with TFT screen, cellphone charging socket, start stop system (SSS), spacious trunk with a capacity of 27 liters, and smart keyless.
Interestingly, the Grand Filano also uses a 125 cc hybrid engine. Previously, the hybrid scooter was offered on the Yamaha Fazzio model.
In addition, Grand Filano is also equipped with One Push Start which makes the engine start quickly with one touch and is equipped with a Stop & Start System feature which functions to turn off the engine automatically when the motorbike is not in use so as to save more fuel.

Yamaha Grand Filano is also equipped with the advanced Yamaha Motorcycle Connect feature which supports the current generation to always be on. With the Communication Control Unit (CCU) technology, it is possible to connect motorbikes to smartphones through the Y-Connect application. This feature makes it easy for motorists to get phone notifications, messages, last parking locations, oil and battery maintenance recommendations, monitor fuel consumption, driving details and malfunction notifications.
The practicality of the Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid-Connected is supported by various other advantages such as the Convenience Hook Carabiner, a goods hanger with a carabiner locking system making it more practical when carrying lots of items. Then the Electric Power Socket feature to charge gadgets and keep calm store them in the Spacious Front Pocket as a storage space that can be opened and closed when carrying items on the front.
All types of Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid-Connected already use the Smart Key System, a sophisticated keyless key system equipped with the Answer Back System feature to make it easier for motorists to find a motorcycle parking position.

In addition to practicality, the Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid-Connected provides driving comfort with passengers by having a wider footstep design for comfort when traveling together with passengers, as well as a Hazard lamp to signal in an emergency situation. Riders will also be more comfortable and calm because they have used wider tread tires with a front tire size and rear tires 110/70 – 12 “tubeless.
There are two variants offered, namely LUX and NEO.
Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid-Connected LUX with a premium seat design for a more elegant and luxurious driver character has 2 (two) premium color choices, including LUX White Pearl and LUX Matte Blue, which are marketed at IDR 27,500,000 OTR Jakarta.
Then the Yamaha Grand Filano Hybrid-Connected NEO with a choice of 4 (four) more diverse color choices, including NEO Dull Blue, NEO Red, NEO Beige and NEO Black which are marketed at IDR 27,000,000 OTR Jakarta.
