South African coach Pitso Musimane, coach of Al-Ahly club, has decided to exclude three players from the list participating in the FIFA Club World Cup, which Qatar is organizing for the second year in a row.
A source revealed to “Yalla Koura” Thursday, that Musimani decided to exclude Walid Suleiman, who suffers from a strained injury in the posterior muscle, along with Mahmoud Wahid and Rami Rabiaa for technical reasons.
Musimane is scheduled to choose 23 players in the final list, and the coaching staff has also decided to use the three closest to exit the list on the Qatar trip.
Al-Ahly team will leave for Qatar on Friday, where the African champion will face his Qatari counterpart Al-Duhail next Thursday in the quarter-finals, with the winner facing his European counterpart Bayern Munich.
This participation is considered the sixth in the history of Al-Ahly after five copies (2005) – (2006) – (2008) – (2012) – (2013).
