▼Incumbent Koji Araki received 3,059 votes.
▼Newcomer and former town councilor Takuyo Iwakawa received 2,650 votes.
▼Newcomer Seiji Owaki, head of the Awa Electric Users Association, received 1,388 votes.
▼Newcomer and company manager Kenichi Yano received 748 votes.
Mr. Araki was elected for a fourth term.
