Yahya Waloni He was rushed to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, because he had an enlarged heart. The National Police Hospital has formed a team of doctors to deal with Yahya Waloni, who is a suspect in the alleged blasphemy case.
“A team of doctors has been formed to treat this patient,” said the Head of Medical Care and Treatment of the National Police Hospital, Kombes Yayok Witarto, to reporters on Friday (27/8/2021).
Yayok said the doctor was observing Yahya Waloni’s disease. It is known that Yahya has a history of heart disease.
“And currently being observed in the treatment room,” he said.
Meanwhile, Yayok also revealed Yahya’s condition at the Police Hospital. According to him, Yahya Waloni was conscious.
“(Yahya) is aware,” added Yayok.
Previously, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department, Komjen Agus Andrianto, said that Yahya Waloni had complained of shortness of breath. That made Yahya rushed to the Police Hospital.
“(He) complained of shortness of breath,” said Agus when asked for confirmation, Friday (27/8).
Separately, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, confirmed that Yahya Waloni was sick. Argo said Yahya had an enlarged heart.
“Yes, swelling of the heart,” Argo said.
