Jayapura: One of the staff of the Yahukimo Regency General Election Commission (KPU), Henry Jovinski, died after being slashed by an unknown person (OTK) in the neck. Henry was attacked while monitoring the research process in a village in Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, Papua.
“It’s true, one of the KPU Yahukimo staff died while carrying out his duties in Dekai,” said KPU Papua chairman, Theodorus Kossay, to Medcom.id, Tuesday night, August 11, 2020.
Theodorus admits that he has not received a chronology of the events of Henry’s murder. The police are currently investigating the case.

“It is still being investigated by the security apparatus,” he said.
Currently, Theodorus said, the bodies will be flown from Yahukimo on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 to Kedungmalang Village, Sumbang District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. He hopes that the assault case will soon find a bright spot.
“We are sorry for this incident, and hope that this case can be uncovered by the security forces,” he said.
