Yacht of Rosneft arrested in France

LETA – MEDUSA. The French authorities have confiscated the yacht Amore Vero, owned by Igor Sechin, the head of Russia’s Rosneft, French economy minister Brino Lemer said on Twitter.

The yacht was detained on Thursday night in the port of Las Riviera on the French Riviera.

In the past, the 85-meter-long yacht was called St. Princess Olga, and Olga Sechina, the ex-wife of Rosneft’s manager, spent a lot of time on it.

The yacht was detained as part of the sanctions imposed on Russia for invading Ukraine.

Forbes magazine reported on Thursday that billionaire Alisher Usmanov’s $ 600 million yacht Dilbar was detained in Hamburg.
