From next November 11 to December 10, Signal Colombia Deportes will produce and broadcast a new edition of the National and Paranational Sports Games, the most important multi-sport event in the country that promises emotions from start to finish, in an exhibition of athletic skills, fair play, teamwork and sports, social, economic and cultural development.
The XXII National Sports Games and VI Paranational Games Eje Cafetero 2023 will have more than six hours a day of coverage through the main screen of Signal Colombia, via streaming and through alternative digital signals.
In addition to the live broadcast of the competitions, at the end of each day, Signal Colombia will offer a summary with the highlighted information of the competitions completed that day.
In a convergent work, Radio Nacional de Colombia will also be present at this sporting event. Likewise, RTVCPlay will have a streaming signal on its website, recording everything that is happening, first-hand, at the National and Paranational Games.
Once the sporting flame is lit, the curtain on the Games will officially open, which will feature a historic participation of 10,713 athletes, who will represent 33 delegations during 24 days of competition.
The departments that serve as venues for the fairs: Risaralda, Quindío and Caldas; together with the sub-headquarters of Cundinamarca and Valle del Cauca, they will receive the 39 sports of the conventional sector and one exhibition from November 11 to 25, while the Paranational disciplines will be held from December 2 to 10 for the fight for 990 medals.
The National and Paranational Games have been, throughout history, a factor in the development of host cities. The skills allow the adaptation and construction of new scenarios and generate an important economic and social impact associated with the activation of sectors such as air and land transportation; clothing, import of sports implementation, accommodation, food and sports tourism services, among others.
Signal Colombia, from RTVC Public Media System, has had the opportunity to broadcast the games of 2011, 2015, 2019 and now in 2023, making it the channel with the most experience in broadcasting these events.
