XS4ALL stops with IPv4 Subnet – IT Pro – News

XS4ALL is discontinuing the IPv4 Subnet service, with which customers could purchase a series of six fixed IP addresses. The KPN brand refers customers to the business service KPN EEN MKB.

The offering of IPv4 Subnet expires on 1 October. Stopping IPv4 Subnet is part of the cancellation of several services at XS4ALL. From 1 October, XS4ALL customers will also be able to purchase no more than four telephone numbers per internet connection, the option of a collective invoice will lapse when multiple internet connections are purchased and the brand will stop submitting partial invoices if, for example, someone gets internet from work and takes television himself.

The relevant services will fall under KPN’s business services, which was not the case at XS4ALL. However, the company’s services will transfer to KPN’s infrastructure, which gives XS4ALL the reason for scrapping the relevant offer. The termination will affect about 2500 customers, who will inform XS4ALL personally. The provider is putting forward the business offer KPN EEN MKB as an alternative, but registration with the Chamber of Commerce is required for this.

The provider Freedom Internet, founded out of dissatisfaction with the further integration of XS4ALL into KPN, is responding to the announcement with the promise itself shortly subnets to customers. “Freedom Internet was already preparing to offer subnets to customers, but will now accelerate this solution to both individuals and organizations within a few months,” the announcement said.
