Therefore, the ghost icon itself is a “symptom” caused by a problem with Xperia Home, and is not the root cause of abnormal heat generation or abnormal battery consumption.
Personally, I recommend MIcrosoft Launcher, but for the time being, anything other than Xperia Home is fine.
However, there are some reports that the symptoms do not go away with another pre-installed launcher, “Easy Home”.
