Xolos vs León: Bava’s farewell to Caliente TV? – SoyFiera.com

Los Xolos from Tijuana will receive the Club Leon This Friday night at the Estadio Caliente, a transcendental duel for the immediate future of La Fiera.

Although the León board has confirmed Jorge Bava as their coach, the Uruguayan is “affected” by the poor results and a setback this Friday could precipitate his departure, after only eight months in the position.

This is how Xolos and León arrive

León comes into the match with five games without a win (four draws and one loss), adding to the failure in the Leagues Cup, in which they were eliminated in the first round.

With five goals scored and eight allowed this season, the Greens have not tasted a victory since April 20, when they beat Rayados del Monterrey at the Nou Camp.

Leon has not won away from home since March 31. That Sunday they won 2-1 at Necaxa and since then they have gone four games without a win.

The Xolos, currently managed by Colombian Juan Carlos Osorio, are surprisingly at the top of the table, with 11 points, the result of three wins, two draws and only one loss.

At home this season they have added seven out of nine points, with wins at the expense of Chivas and Santos and a draw with Monterrey, to be one of the best home teams in the Apertura 2024.

Xolos vs Leon broadcast

To watch Xolos vs León, simply go to the Caliente TV channel on YouTube and connect to the broadcast that will start 15 minutes before the game.

Probable lineup of the Lion

León is expected to field a lineup similar to the one seen last week, when they drew against bottom side Santos Laguna.

The big news would be the ownership of Andrés Guardado, after the sudden departure of Fidel Ambriz, now a reinforcement for the Rayados del Monterrey.
