Xingyu Airlines’ second A350-900 passenger aircraft (2646) was delivered. President Zhang Guowei happily posted on Facebook that No. 2 aircraft has returned home!

Xingyu Airlines welcomed the second A350-900 wide-body passenger aircraft at 07:07 today (9), with fuselage number B-58502. This A350-900 wide-body passenger aircraft was flown back to Taiwan by President Zhang Guowei from Toulouse, France at 11:15 am on January 8, French time. After the addition of the second A350-900 passenger aircraft to Starstar Airlines’ fleet, the fleet size is more complete and also reserves power for the North American flight in April.

Zhang Guowei, president of Xingyu Airlines, shared eight beautiful photos of the A350-900 on Facebook. After returning to Taiwan, he posted that “The No. 2 aircraft is returning home.”

Xingyu Airlines’ first A350-900 wide-body passenger aircraft was delivered at the end of October last year (2022), and the fuselage number was changed to B-58501. After more than two months, the second aircraft was delivered today (9th), the fleet currently has a total of 2 A350-900s. A few days ago, in order to go to Airbus to pick up the A350 passenger aircraft, President Zhang Guowei had the aircraft transfer training in full swing since June last year (2022), and went to Singapore to obtain a certificate and successfully obtained permission to fly the original Airbus A350.

Starstar Airlines A350-900 is the only first class and business class aircraft equipped with individual sliding doors in Taiwan. There are four classes, 4 first class seats, 26 business class seats, 36 premium economy class seats and 240 economy class seats The cabin has a total of 306 seats. This is the world’s first evolutionary version of the A350. The cabin is 4 inches wider than the regular A350, providing a more spacious and comfortable seating space.

The A350-900 is expected to complete verification and go online in January 2023. It will initially fly to Southeast Asian routes and is expected to officially launch flights to Los Angeles, US in April.

In terms of fleet, Starspace Airlines said it has steadily expanded according to plan: there are currently 13 A321neos, 4 A330neos and 2 A350-900s, with a total fleet of 19 aircraft. The new A350-900 aircraft is expected to be put into operation on regional routes during the Spring Festival holiday period and is expected to increase flight capacity during the peak tourist season for the Chinese.
