For a long time, the manufacturer Xiaomi has been extremely fast, although so far it has often only been a prototype. The new fastest 200W charging technology was named Xiaomi HyperCharge, and so far it only shows in a video in a laboratory environment. The same goes for 120W wireless mode.
The test was performed by Xiaomi on a specially modified Mi 11 Pro smartphone with a 4,000 mAh battery, which the 200W HyperCharge charges with the help of a cable in eight minutes, the wireless with a power of 120W is done in fifteen minutes. Half of the battery capacity with a 200W charger is full in an incredible three minutes, and wireless in seven minutes.
As usual, Xiaomi didn’t specify when these dreams of super fast chargers would be available on regular smartphones. And it took me a long time to go. The manufacturer currently only offers two smartphones with 120W wired charging, Black Shark 4 and Mi 10 Ultra. None of them are talking about it in Europe. What’s more, the 120W charged Xiaomi has promised since the first half of 2019, but as we can see, it’s still a very marginal affair.
The problem outside the laboratory conditions will be a large phone (or battery), which is a complication of the 120W model. Fast charging so these worries can go to deepen me. Xiaomi should be able to take advantage of this, not start selling such technology.
