The Stylus Pen is magnetically attached to the left back of a folding smartphone in a patent filed by Xiaomi.
A patent smartphone fold from Xiaomi forthcoming one, appeared on the internet not too long ago. The patent not only shows the foldable phone design, but also the Stylus Pen support that this device will have.
Reported from Gizmochina (30/12), a patent for a cellphone called the Xiaomi Fold was filed with the United States Patent Trademark Office (USPTO). The image shows a device with a bidirectional folding mechanism, like the one we saw on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold. The phone also looks similar to the company’s Mi Mix Fold.
Interestingly, the schematic shows the Stylus Pen magnetically attached to the left back of the phone. on the back, smartphone seems to have one camera with lights flash LED on the side. Turning to the right side of the phone, there are volume and power buttons. The device also has a USB type C port for charging and speaker in the below section.
Unfortunately, the patent does not show any information regarding the specifications or features it will have smartphone fold this. According to speculation, smartphone will likely come to replace Mi Mix Fold.
In related news, the Xiaomi Flip phone patent was also spotted earlier. It shows design flip clamshell like the Galaxy Z Flip3 with its large main foldable screen. Patents have screens punch-hole with cut-out camera selfie double. While on the back there is a dual main camera and a small secondary screen.
